In Gulliver's words:

The difference between then and now and the seven-year separation is that then I had some great friends and we all did track together; now, I still have the same great friends and life is good. Some of the best people I've met have been through the track team and the days of competition.  Then, the hurdles were my passion and I loved the smooth feeling of gathering speed, lurching and launching, gliding over the bar, whipping the trail leg around, and setting down on the other side a little closer to the finish line where friends, family, and coaches watch close by.

Now, filmmaking, guitar playing, and homesteading are my passions.  Especially the self-sustainable lifestyle. It's a cool thing when you can wake up in the morning and have veggies from the garden and eggs from a chicken to make an omelet, and fresh fruit off the trees.  But I don't think I would have gotten interested in good food without the track experience at TL because I was surely a soda and sugary-cheap food kid who didn't know what healthy meant until I began eating right and training right.  And that's where it's all led me since.

Thanks,

Gulliver
